Summary
In this adaptation of Natalie Babbitt's novel of the same name, Alexis Bledel stars as Winnie Foster,
a free-spirited 15-year-old from a stuffy Victorian household who longs for a life outside the control of her
domineering mother (Amy Irving). Lost in the woods, she stumbles on the Tucks, a strange family
hiding out on the family grounds. Winnie soon learns that the Tucks have discovered a spring that
makes them immortal. Before long, she falls in love with one of the Tucks, Jesse (Jonathan Jackson) and must decide
whether to become immortal to spend eternity with him, or continue the rest of her normal life.
This film also stars Ben Kingsley, Sissy Spacek and William Hurt.
This film is rated PG for some violence.
