Summary
Rob Reiner's "The Princess Bride" brings to the screen a fairy tale about a beautiful maiden, Buttercup (played by Robin Wright), whose undying love for a stable hand (Cary Elwes) survives a number of challenges, including being kidnapped by an evil Prince Humperdinck and her beloved Westley's near demise.
This modern classic contains witty dialogue, unforgettable characters, and a terrific storyline as narrated by a kindly grandfather. Also starring Billy Crystal, Mandy Patinkin, Christopher Guest, Andre the Giant, and a young Fred Savage. This movie has become something of a "cult classic" and is an outstanding movie for the entire family!
