Summary
An Ideal Husband" adapts Oscar Wilde's play of the same name, about a respected member of the House of Commons who is confronted with a moral dilemma when a devious woman from his past returns with a blackmail proposal. The film offers an amusing portrait into high society in Victorian England and contains fine performances by Cate Blanchett, Minnie Driver, Rupert Everett and Jeremy Northam.
