Summary
Cate Blanchett reprises her role as Queen Elizabeth in this sumtuous costume drama directed by Shekhar Kapur. In this second installment of the life of
Elizabeth, her kingdom is being threatened by Philip II of Spain (Jordi Molla) and
Mary, Queen of Scots (Samantha Morton). Meanwhile, Elizabeth meets the charming Sir Walter Raleigh (Clive Owen) who arrives in her court to present her with the
territory of Virginia which he names in her honor.
