Cranford is a quaint English town that has kept its traditions and way of life with pride. But it is a town
that is soon faced with change. When a new young doctor (Simon Woods) arrives into town, he causes quite a stir.
Not only is he an eligible bachelor who soon wins the hearts of many of the town's single women, but he has new ways of practicing medicine.
His arrival also coincides with news that a railroad will soon be built, and the local townsfolk fear how it will
threaten their unchanged way of life. Cranford is a series full of heart. You will grow to love the people, and laugh and cry
with their triumphs and tragedies.
This film is made for television and is not rated.
