Summary
This Academy Award winning costume drama tells the legendary story of William Wallace, a
Scottish commoner who becomes a national hero.
When Wallace loses his young wife to brutal English rule, he
leads a band of Scottish warriors to stand against the cruel oppression of his people by
English ruler Edward the Longshanks, who wishes to inherit the crown of Scotland for himself.
This film is rated R for brutal medieval warfare.
