Summary
"Amazing Grace" tells the story of William Wilberforce, an antislavery pioneer in early 19th century
England. The film stars Ioan Gruffudd as Wilberforce, who as a courageous member of the British Parliament, worked to end the
slave trade throughout the British Empire. Albert Finney plays John Newton, who wrote the famous hymn which lends its title to the film.
Romola Garai, Michael Gambon, Rufus Sewell and Ciaran Hinds also star in this inspiring drama.
