Jessie Willcox Smith Gallery

Jessie Willcox Smith (1863-1935) was born in Philadelphia in 1863. She studied at the School of Design for Women, Academy of Pennsylvania and in Howard Pyle's workshop. She became a prominent American illustrator and specialized in depicting mothers and children. She authored over 200 front pages in the magazine Good Housekeeping.
